Duplicate metrics are sent and an additional root-level name is used #2891

Due to this bc:

q1: ('postgres.replication_delay_bytes', GAUGE),

We are receiving additional metrics. Is it possible that we implement some switch in the agent config that will turn off sending postgres.* metrics?

The deprecation comment also doesn't help much as basically no one who uses metrics sees it.
