Using Custom Control Page Images with the Fantastic Weather Plugin

The Dark Sky API provides a facility to use weather-based icons on control pages, and it provides several icon values that are designed to help with displaying weather-based information. The plugin provides these values for the Weather, Hourly and Daily devices. The Weather device also provides many additional values that are formatted specifically for display in Indigo. These values are not provided by Dark Sky, and will not be found in the API data.

Icon Naming Convention

The Dark Sky API provides the following names for icons. The plugin changes the icon name slightly to conform to Indigo's image naming heuristics by replacing hyphens with underscores (so clear-day becomes clear_day).

• clear_day
• clear_night
• cloudy
• fog
• partly_cloudy_day
• partly_cloudy_night
• rain
• sleet
• snow
• wind
