This page is dedicated to the Japanese Culture. The Japanese culture has called the Japanese island archipelago home since founding. Japan's indigenous culture originates primarily from the Yayoi people who settled in Japan between 1000 BCE to 300 CE. Yayoi culture quickly spread to the main island of Honshū, mixing with the native Jōmon culture.
Dawn of Time focuses mainly on the Japanese Culture starting in the Heian period (794–1185) and ending in Edo period (1600–1868). We do this to allow a wide range of historical content to be used.
