Welcome to my GitHub! I'm David Mason.

I am a newly trained Full Stack Software Engineer


I recently graduate an intense 16-week boot camp with the School of Code.

During the course, I learnt not only how to use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQl, React and more, but also how to work in a modern software development team. I learnt/developed a number of skills including how to pair/team programme, how to effectively communicate even when working remote, the development process of an app from ideation to documentation, as well as how to breakdown and solve coding problems using computational thinking.

Current personal project: Shopping List App

Tech Stack:

I am developing this app to be used by myself and my wife so that we can have a shared shopping list which can be updated at any time from our mobile phones. As such, I am developing this app using React Native so that the app can be downloaded to our phones and ensures that the app will work on my Android phone and her iOS phone. The app will use MongoDB for the backend database so that I can gain experience with a NoSQL database.
