Welcome to the MPI Testing Tool

The MPI Testing Tool (MTT) is an infrastructure to test an MPI implementation. It is an open project that can be used with any MPI implementation, although it was initially developed by the Open MPI community for automated regression and performance testing.

• Please sign up on the MTT users mailing list. This is the main mechanism for the MTT developers to communicate with MTT users.

• Optionally sign up on the "testing" mailing list. This list is used to send out short messages when new Open MPI nightly tarballs are created (or when they fail to create properly).

• Optionally sign up on the MTT OMPI results mailing list. Summaries of nightly MTT testing results are sent to this list (see [EmailReportsSchedule schedule]).

• Optionally sign up on the MTT developers mailing list. This is where the developers discuss ongoing MTT development issues.

• Go read the MTT overview.

• Notes about viewing MTT trac ticket activity:
  • To sign up on a mailing list to see all ticket activity, go to this URL: http://www.open-mpi.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/mtt-bugs
  • If you do not join this list, you will only have ticket activity e-mailed to you if:
    • If you are the owner of a ticket, or
    • If a ticket is assigned to you, or
    • Your e-mail address is listed in the CC on a ticket
