Government Organizations

A platform superuser can create a new government organization by navigating to the Governments tab in the system administration area, clicking the New button, and entering a name and description.

There are 3 tabs available in the media organization administration section:

  • Organization - edit the government name and description and upload charts of accounts and datasets (see below)
  • Sites - create sites associated with the government's budgets (see section on sites administration)
  • Users - add and manage users (see Users & Accounts section on main documentation page).

Chart of account information and datasets can be uploaded using this administration interface or can be processed in using the command-line tools built into the platform. On the latter (and on required formats for uploaded files), see the page on input data processing.
