ⅩⅠⅠ | How to play PlayStation®Home on RPCS3

| Assuming that you did follow ALL of the prerequisites as stated in this wiki resource. You are ready to download the custom PlayStation®Home Online package client. If you have NOT completed all prerequisites you will likely experience critical issues/bugs that will not allow you to play on our online services. |
|---|
| ℹ️ | Windows users can skip all prerequisites if they use the preconfigured package. We also have releases for Linux & macOS users though these builds will require configuration. For more information about our other clients please check out our official release page. |
|---|
1. Windows users can find the latest version of our RPCS3 client here. Once you have downloaded your client to any file directory on your PC, you will need to extract it to execute the RPCS3.exe file. In this example, you can see from the graphic below that I've downloaded my file to the following directory:
C:\Users\Calde\Desktop\DH_RPCS3

-
The next step you will need to do is
right-clickover theDH_RPCS3.zipand click theExtract Alloption in the Windows Setting Pane. You will see theExtract Compressed (Zipped) Foldersdialog box where you will be prompted to extract the file anyway on your PC. In my case I've used the following path:C:\Users\Calde\Desktop\DH_RPCS3\DH_RPCS3
-
Lastly, you will want to click the
Extractbutton.

2. Once you have extracted the DH_RPCS3.zip file you should see the contents extracted to the selected directory that you've chosen from the Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders dialog box. Down below here is what your folder directory should look like:

3. Inside of the the DH_RPCS3 folder you will need to double click the rpcs3.exe file, which will launch RPCS3 on your PC.

4. If you have Microsoft Defender SmartScreen active, you might run into a purple dialog box stating the following:
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.
5. To continue with setting up your RPCS3 client please click the More Info within the Microsoft Defender SmartScreen window.

6. After clicking the More Info option, you will see the following information:
-
App:
rpcs3.exe -
Publisher:
Unknown publisher(Destination Home & RPCS3 are the Publishers for this custom client).
Next, you will need to click the Run anyway option which will boot RPCS3.

7. For Step 7 you will see the RPCS3 Experimental Build Warning dialog pane which should state the build origin is from Destination Home. Lastly, you want to select Yes to activate RPCS3 main menu.

8. Once you are on the main menu, you will need to install the latest firmware 4.90 for your custom RPCS3 client. You can find out more information here in our Wiki Prerequisites page. Lastly, you want to ensure that you have an active RPCN account. If you do not have an active RPCN account please check out our official resource here
9. For the last step please ensure that your Network settings are displayed as such. You can verify this by going to Configuration > CPU > Network > DNS > **52.86.120.101** > Apply > Save

You're almost there, all you need to do is double-click the PlayStation®Home icon in RPCS3! As long as you followed all the prerequisites and have an active network connection you should be back in Harbour Studio ready to dive back into Home's ecosystem!
