During a preboarding process a sequence of different tasks need to be carried out by different roles. Therefore the roles in the process need to be defined. For the preboarding process at kander the following roles are assigned:

  • Candidate / New Employee
  • Human Resources Management (HRM)
  • Information Technology Department (IT)
  • Department hiring new employee (Department)

On this page the current as is process and the future to be process are displayed. To gain a better overview of the digital optimization and its implementations the process is divided into four parts. For each of the parts there is a separate page which contain detailed information about each digitized task.

As Is Process

The current preboarding process executed by the HRM is as follows:

2_1

Challenges

The process itself is working, however, with the tools available on the market, there are many improvements which can be made. A challenge that this process is facing is, that it is rather time consuming and involves many little tasks of other departments. Therefore, there is a high waste of time. Furthermore, many processes require an employee of kander to collect and send information, which could be done with the implementation of chatbots and so on.

Overall, the preboarding process at kander is rather time consuming and this needs to be improved and digitalised. Therefore a to be process is designed.

To Be Process

The future preboarding process at kander will be as follows:

2_2
