SNOOT

Developed for the Global Game Jam'23, theme is "Roots".

In Snoot you have to control the root of a tree in the search of nutrients and water.

You can use the left analog stick/A and D/Left and Right cursor to rotate the root.

Space bar (or Y/triangle button) splits the root and left CTRL (or A/square button) triggers a zap throughout the root that kills all bugs attacking it. Both of these need enough nutrients to trigger.

If you have enough nutrition, you can hit the bugs head on to kill them. It's cheaper than zapping, though!

The nutrients that you need at a moment are displayed in the UI, and you should only pick up those to increase your nutrition.

Be carefull with your water level/hydration. The root will move faster/slower depending on hydration.

The root will die if you don't have enough nutrients or water.

You should search for the crystals hidden deep underground to unlock their secrets...
