Dear Dolibarr team,
The option "Disable systematic stock reduction when a sale is made from the Point of Sale (if "no", the stock reduction is made for each sale made from the POS, regardless of the stock change option defined in the Stock module)" doesn't work on Dolibarr 10.0.1.
When this option is set to "no" and the warehouse is well selected in the TakePOS module settings (terminal), then the stocks are never reduced by this cash register.
The only way for stocks to be modified is to set up the stock module for a reduction on invoice (which is inconvenient if you need to set up this module differently: sales to professionals with decreases on orders, on shipments).
Also note that the "yes" option does not work: nothing happens.
Finally, the initialization of stock management is also rather laborious (obliged to modify several times the option so that it is finally taken into account).
Thank you.
Best regards,
