Currently it is very easy to forget reconfiguring filament thickness when changing printer types (e.g. from ultimaker to makerbot).
It would be convenient if this would automatically change, or if at least some kind of reminder was shown when switching types.

One interesting question is whether the Makerbot for example can handle 1.75 and 3 mm filament. I know the Ultimaker normally doesn't handle 1.75mm.

This should probably be a printer type specific setting. (Like dimensions and start- and endgcode.)

We don’t support custom filament thickness per printer on the client
yet. Doodle3D/doodle3d-client#162
