This is a multi-phase plan with the objectives of increasing our capabilities to carry out large simulation experiments (see project tracker: https://github.com/orgs/DrylandEcology/projects/6/views/2)

• Phase 0 (v800; PR #378): introduction of a simulation domain (a set of simulation units/runs) and the capability to produce output as netCDFs

• Phase 1: capability to provide inputs via netCDFs

• Phase 2: parallelization across the simulation domain

• Additional updates include new and updated vegetation relationships and updated soil inputs
