AS STATED BELOW, CREDIT IS REQUIRED. IN REPOS THIS GENERALLY MEANS CREDIT IN A RATHER OBVIOUS PLACE IN THE ROOT DIRECTORY (USUALLY README/LICENSE/CREDITS FILE)

Heyo, it's me DubyaDude.

So my client got leaked a long long time ago and one of the things that seemed to have gotten ripped out was a ButtonAPI that I created for myself when first creating RubyClient about more than a half a year ago. It seems to be that some people have been using this API without giving any credit where credit is due.

So, to even out the playing field a bit, I'm releasing the clean source code of the old ButtonAPI that was leaked back in the day with commits of explaining basic usage.

DO NOT DM ME ASKING FOR HELP, FIGURE OUT ISSUES ON YOUR OWN ~I just ask you give credit where credit is due <3 Source Code: https://github.com/DubyaDude/RubyButtonAPI/blob/master/RubyButtonAPI.cs

  • Credit to Slaynash for creating VRCTools and inspiring me to create this, and creating a lot of reflections that were used to accomplish this!

So, without further ado, Here are screenshots of people using the ButtonAPI (proven to be used by simple checks that I had in place). Featuring: RubyClient (By DubyaDude), Notorious (By Meap), DoomsDay (By Avto & Raiken), and Totally Not A Client (By Basic) https://imgur.com/a/75K6wNM

TO CLEAR OUT SOME MISCONCEPTIONS:

  1. This is not the only 'Button API' out there, this is just my personal variation.
  2. I created everything from scratch myself BESIDES the reflections which is completely credited to Slaynash (creator of VRCTools).
  3. I wasn't the first one to do it lol.
