the ae2 tabs are not showing up

Need and All nugget for the ore dictionary so that nuggets. right now they have no place to go

Yes! I have done a lot of work to make it like this :P AE2 only registers it's tabs client side, so on servers I cannot make it work, so I made sure they wouldn't show up.

You could report this to AlgorithmX2 (maker of AE2) and ask if he can also register the tabs server side. All nuggets is a good idea, I will add that.

I found this by total accident so I registered the creative tab on the server as well, since it seemed harmless.
