The repository does not have any license on it. The PyPI package only mentions about "Public Domain", but also does not identify which license specifically. Please leave a comment on if this license looks okay to you, or if you would prefer a different license.

I am working on making available another PyPI library (seqlike) on conda-forge and licenses are necessary for each library that is made available (PR: conda-forge/staged-recipes#17283). Since, python-codon-tables (which is a dependency of seqlike) is not available on conda-forge yet, I am adding it to conda-forge as well.

So, once it is available on conda-forge, you will be able to install python-codon-tables with:

conda install -c conda-forge python-codon-tables

This closes #7.
