"millimetre(s)" is the British spelling so this should be fine (Camridge dict has it on a separate page).
The question is probably whether we are consistent with British vs. American spelling. I'm seeing some inconsistencies with "analyze" vs. "analyse", for example.
Search and replace might be able to catch most instances of this if we're doing it carefully. Changing all instances to British english would make the most sense I think?

Allout through the code metric units are used.
I have not checked for all but all I have seen have the following typo:
e.g. "millimetres" instead of "millimeters" (TRSE to TERS)
