Is the resource pack seperate? #1
Comments
Looks good, will try it out later this evening. |
Also, thanks for finally implementing something in the fletching table! No clue why Mojang hasn't in the past.... 4? years |
Thanks man! I really appreciate that people are enjoying my datapacks! |
So I never knew that you could click on the entry in the list on Modrinth, I had always clicked on the download button. Eventually I figured that out and got the screen that you showed. For some reason, some of the popup tooltips are off screen. I'm not sure if that's from a mod or a setting, but probably an equally "duh" thing I'm missing. For example, the left part of the tooltip from the blue exclamation mark is off the screen. I'd estimate 10 - 20% of it. I have other tooltips with a similar problem, so it's probably not unique to your mod. Edit: I have a static GUI size for compatibility with other mods, and adjusted it and can see the tooltip now. |
OK, so the resource pack seems to make all the furnaces look like furnace minecarts. Why do you have a folder of minecarts in your resource pack? Can that be removed? Edit |
Thanks for reporting the furnace problem, I will update the resourcepack soon. The new version will be up in like max 2h. About breaking the table, because this is not a mod or a plugin datapack developers are forced to use a chest minecart to create menus, because of that that makes that when looking to a menu block/entity (in this case a fletching table) an invisible chest minecart is summoned in the head of the player. Unfortunately, that makes breaking the fletching table a problem because if you try left clicking to destroy it you can't because there is a chest minecart on your head blocking your left click, that's why I added the "pick up" button. I already have a "fix" for that and more functionalities but I'm waiting for someone to finish something so I can update the datapack. |
Oh, ok, that makes sense.
Also, when I was experimenting with it, I noticed that sometimes from some angles, when you right click on the table, nothing happened. One side seemed to have this happen more often (front or right), and right clicking the top always made it work. Is that because of the minecart too?

I really don't know what could be causing it, the datapack doesn't check for faces, it checks for the whole block. Maybe your game buged or something because in my beta testing I didn't get that error and so didn't my friend who also beta tested. |
Well, let's see how the reaoirce pack does and if the weirdness is still there.

I'm not clear on the directions you give for the resource pack. I don't see any resource packs posted to the Modrinth page, so I'm not sure where I need to download it from.
