Installing Elgg on a Virtual Host

Examples of "virtual hosts" are Rackspace, Amazon EC2, etc.

For installation to proceed successfully, modify the .htaccess file in the root, and uncomment:

#RewriteBase /

To be:

RewriteBase /

Then follow the standard installation instructions <../install>.
