ATTENTION! JP+ Engines requires JapanSet 3 Trains to work! It must be loaded BELOW JapanSet 3 Trains to function correctly!
An extension and overhaul of all locomotives and locomotive-hauled rolling stock from the JapanSet.
Featuring a much larger selection of locomotives from all different eras and companies. Includes some private railways in addition to JGR/JNR/JR Group. All locomotives have livery refits and are also available in company colours.
A much larger selection of freight wagons allows for realistic consists. Fully compatible with industry sets such as FIRS and AXIS, including custom load graphics.
Brake van speed boost feature allows for freight trains to run at consistent speeds, even with wagon speed limits on.
Capacity parameters for freight and passenger coaches will be added in the future.
The majority of the graphics are drawn with the DOS Palette. Some vehicles are available in 32bpp (normal zoom) for better colour reproduction.
There may be some inconsistencies between sprites due to different artists and eras. Sprites will slowly be updated to maintain a consistent level of quality.

JP+ Engines overwrites vehicle IDs from JapanSet3 Trains. This is subject to change in the future and will involve a major shakeup of IDs.
Translations are being accepted as of now, but please be aware that somewhat major changes could still be made to the lang file as the project progresses.
