Use fa-regular instead of fa-solid for icons

I tried to change the icon for today from font-awesome solid (fa-solid) to regular(fa-regular) without success. Is it possible?

                today: 'fa-regular fa-calendar-check',

Here is the example

It works just find, I was not including regular.min.js and regular.min.css in my CSS.

In the code example I used font-awesome all.min.js and all.min.css
I will do a better job before posting questions.
