Hi everyone,

After a while, MyNotes is back with improvements and fixes. Some of these changes are;

• Settings page UI: New and improved settings page UI, it's more organized and easy to use.
• Log system: if you encounter any errors or crashes, they will be log'ed in "C:\Users(YourUserName)\AppData\Local\MyNotes", this location also stores notes and reminders.
• Reminders file type has been changed, this means reminders from old versions won't be listed. Back up reminders before installing new version and recreate them in new one.
• Alarm feature: You can choose reminders alarm status, it will show a little bell icon above reminder icon if alarm is selected for that reminder. Reminders with alarms will act like normal reminders, except they will ring windows alarm sound continuously until interacted.
• Close app option: Normally, when you close the app, it will stay in background for reminders feature to work, this option closes the app completely, this option's intended use case is closing the app before updating to a new version.
• Also, some UI changes and code improvements have been made.

Notes:

• This installation file is created using Advance Installer (Thanks to Advance installer team for their support).
• Localization will be implemented in the feature (by using crowdin).
• I recommend uninstalling old version before installing new one.

This release has some small changes and bug fixes. Some of these changes are;

• App icon has been changed. Now it works with white theme too.
• An error that causes non-repeated notifications to not show up has been fixed.

Hi everyone,

This release has some new features and many bug fixes. Some of these changes are;

• WinUI version is updated from 1.3 to 1.4, this means in the upcoming updates i can add more features and program will work more stable.
• New theme (Acrylic) added to settings page.
• Save when exit option added in settings page.
• An error that causes save system to not work properly has been fixed.
• Small bug fixes and code improvements.

• I just put the .msi file this time because .exe file falsely detected as "unsafe" on some systems.

Hi everyone,

This release has lots of new features and some bug fixes. Some of these changes are;

• Spellcheck option added to note details page
• New theme (Mica alt) added to settings page
• When navigating away from the note details page, changes on the note will be saved.
• Localization system is improved, it's currently ready to add new languages, but I'm not finished adding new features this means if a new language is added now, it will need changes later.
• Logical errors fixed.

Hi everyone,

This release has some important bug fixes and improvements. Some of these changes are;

• Bug related to reminder delete function is fixed, this bug was preventing reminders to be deleted.
• bug on app notification system is fixed, this bug was crashing app when an info message is clicked.
• Localization system is improved, it will be ready to add new languages soon.

Notes:

• If you are updating from an old version I will highly recommend rebooting windows (or find my notes from task manager and, end task), before starting the app, for single instancing to work properly. Otherwise, the app will stack up in background on every open and close.
• I came across an interesting error while I was testing, I don't know why (probably an installer issue) but when I tried to install new version without uninstalling old one, app doesn't work. So I recommend uninstalling old version before installing new one.

Hi everyone,

After so much effort, it's finally time to release this app. This is first release, this means the app can have some bugs but also have room for improvement. I'm currently working on the next release.
