The setting "Use home time zone" is causing so many problems when it is on that I think the setting should be eliminated if it won't be fixed. It seems like it would take a lot of time and work to fix so I think we should consider just eliminating it. It is handy to use when traveling but it causes confusion and frustration of which the user doesn't know the cause.

The following issues (that I know of) would be solved through an elimination of this setting: #382, #1164, #1173, #1208, #1260, #1264

Of course, if someone wanted to try to find the reason all of this is happening, that would be ideal, but I just don't see that happening...

If someone can find other issues related to this, please add them. If you are having weird issues with dates or times being off or display errors then try turning off this setting and see if that solves it. If so, it is another issue related to this setting.

#382 doesn't look to me like it is caused by "use home time zone".

The others may or should, respectively, be fixed by GH-1404 and/or GH-1405. Ping me if some are not.

If any other are found, ping me, too.

(I hope LineageOS pulls from / merges with this repository from time to time for the Etar they ship as system app in the OS?)
