Is there anything special in this great application which prevents it from running on OS X Lion? I have an old MacBook which detects a phantom display (http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/142880/macbook-detects-a-phantom-display) and I think your application is exactly what I am looking for. Unfortunately it does not run on that machine. If it is only about changing build target, could you please build a version which supports older OS's too?

It is a Late 2006 MacBook with Intel C2D.

Mmph that should work right out of the box.
Does the app starts and the turning off does not work? Or don't you even see the icon appearing? Can you see something in the system log (Console)?

The icon has the "unsupported platform" overlay and the system says it requires a newer OS to run when I try to run it. (It does say this more specific, but I am not near this computer right now, so I can't check it, sorry.)

This is true only for the latest release, the release before it works fine.

Ok, so its probably my mistake. I build a new version tomorrow. I will write you when you can check it out.
