Finally done with this garbage update.
I've been procrastinating and it's been haunting me, so I'm glad that I can finally start working on other things I had in mind.

Updating from S'argo v3.4 -> v4.0

1. just do the same thing you've always done lol. download and replace the .jar you were using.

Change Log

• Updated Discord4J to v3.0.7
  • Edited a lot of files that were using Discord4J v2.x.x stuff
• Weapon Step Up v3
  • Pretty much Weapon Step Up v2 and Step Up v9 combined. The first weapon in the list takes up half of the gold weapon drop rate and is guaranteed on Step 5.
• Changes
  • Cleaned up code (kinda).
  • Scout result images are now sent along with the embed unlike in v3.4 where they were sent above the embed.
  • Removed the user command.
  • Deleted a lot of useless/deprecated files. Now the .jar is a lot lighter.
  • Shop purchase confirmation messages are no longer self-deleted.

• Bug Fixes
  • Inputting an invalid shop item, i.e. $shop G, would cause the bot to crash/shut down because of an uncaught exception.

• Step Up v9
  • Same thing as Step Up v8, with a twist.
  • The first platinum6 character in the banner gets 1/2 of the rates to themselves. The other platinum6 characters, if any, split the other half to themselves.
  • On Step 5, the first platinum6 character is guaranteed.

Updating from v2 -> v3

1. Backup your Scout.xml settings file if you have made any changes to it, you can find it in \data\settings\.
2. Delete Scout.xml
3. Start up S'argo; system images that are required will automatically be downloaded and a new Scout.xml should be generated with the new base rates.
4. If you need to reapply any changes you made to Scout.xml, shut down S'argo and apply any changes.

  • Added support for 6★ (Platinum6) characters.
• Step Up v7
  • Same deal as Step Up v2, but instead of 5★ characters, 6★ get the rate changes.
  • Non-limited 5★ characters up to Furry Morphin' Time can be obtained as well.
• Argo: SAO/ALO Forms
  • Argo's new ALO form will appear in Step Up v7 and any future banner types. She will also appear in Event scouts as well.
  • Only Argo's SAO form will appear in banner types older than Step Up v7.
• ScoutMaster Changes
  • Since Argo has 2 forms now, ScoutMasters has been updated to support the extra image potential.
  • The new template can be found here.
• Configuration File Changes
  • Base rates of 2★;69% / 3★;25% / 4★;4% / 5★;2% has been updated to 2★;65% / 3★;25% / 4★;4% / 5★;3% / 6★;3%
• Profile Changes
  • 6★ support has been added to the profile.

  • Added username/discriminator to the "Starting character/weapon/ticket" scout messages that show up in the logger.

  • Adjusted positioning of rarity stars for character scouts.
  • The animated version of the banner is used instead of a static version in info.
• New Banner
  • Made a new banner for the README.md. Spent a good chunk of time making that when I could've been working on the v3.0 update, lol.
