p2v-video_creator

  1. Description:

P2V creates a high quality video file from a picture file and an audio file. You can choose whatever kind of picture file and audio file you want -- the output will always be a 1280p wide .mkv video file with flac audio. It is compatible with Ubuntu 16.04 and up, Debian 8 and up and Linux Mint 18.x and up.

  1. Installation:

Unzip the "p2v" bash script from the zip archive and move it to either /usr/local/bin or ~/bin. You can either do this from a command line or simply drag the file out of Archive Manager to wherever you'd like it to go.

P2V is free softare. You can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License Version 2.0. as published by the Free Software Foundation. A copy of the GNU GPL 2.0 is provided with the software.

P2V creates a high quality video file from a picture file and an audio file. You can choose whatever kind of picture file and audio file you want -- the output will always be a 1280p wide .mkv video file with flac audio.

Commands:

p2v /path/to/picture.file /path/to/audio.file = Will create a video file
in the current working directory. You may also provide a full path for the
output video file to create it in another directory if you want. Example:
p2v /path/to/picture.file /path/to/audio.file /path/to/video_filemame

p2v --help = shows this help page.

Press 'q' after the conversion starts to stop the process and exit p2v.
The file will be playable but incomplete. 

You can provide P2V with pictures in the .jpg or .png format. 
The format of the audio file can be saved as .mp3, .wav, .flac, .ogg and 
more... You should be able to use any audio file you can play.
