This repository contains data scraped from the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL). The data includes athletics results from both past and ongoing competitions.
- database_old: Contains data from the previous project where results were scraped from the annual ranking page FIDAL Annual Rankings.
- database_new: Contains data from the new project currently under development. Results are scraped directly from live competitions on the FIDAL website.
The purpose of this repository is to provide access to athletics results data collected from the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL).
The average user can enjoy faster updates of rankings and access other projects (in very early development) that utilize the collected data.
Fan statistics and analytics enthusiasts are free to use the database for their own analysis and projects.
Contributions to improve and expand the database are welcome! If you have suggestions, enhancements, or additional data sources to include, feel free to open an issue or submit a pull request.
