Translating

How-To

Translating FTPbox is pretty straight-forward:

1. Run FTPbox and open the Options form.
2. From the General tab click the Translate button.
3. Select what you want and then press Continue:
   • Write a new translation:
     Type your language name and short-code ( ISO 639-1 ).
   • Improve or continue a translation:
     Select your language.
4. Translate all the English strings on the left and click Finish.
5. Select a folder to save the generated file.
6. Email that file to admin@ftpbox.org.

Why email?

Manually sending the file via email has been preferred because:

• I can get back to you and say thanks.
• I can put your name in the list of translators.

Releasing

New translations and translation improvements are released along with new software releases.
