ReNam

ReNam is a handy renaming tool designed for movies, series, and anime, utilizing TMDB.

Disclaimer: ReNam is currently in its basic stage, and its functionality may vary. I plan to continuously update it, addressing issues and introducing new features. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Requirements

  • Python 3.x
  • Required Python packages:
    • requests
    • shutil
    • scandir
    • re
  • TMDB API Key

How to Use

Follow these simple steps to utilize ReNam effectively:

  1. Create a TMDB Account:

    • Visit TMDB and sign up for an account.
  2. Generate an API Key:

  3. Configure API Key:

    • Open ApiHandler.py and locate the API_KEY variable.
    • Replace the existing API key with the one you generated from TMDB.
  4. Run the Application:

    • Execute main.py to launch ReNam.
  5. Select Directory Path:

    • Before initiating any renaming operations, ensure to select the directory path containing the files.
  6. Customize File Formats and Patterns:

    • Feel free to customize the supported file_formats and patterns in MidiaHandler.py according to your preferences.
