This application allows you to play a game of battleship against anothe rhuman player,
To set up the app perform these steps:

bundle install

rake db:create
-
rake db:migrate

rails s
navigate to localhost:3000/?player_index=0 in order to play as the first player. navigate to localhost:3000/?player_index=1 in order to play as the second player.
Your ships will be automatically placed at this point and you can see them on the grid to the right.
To fire at your opponent click on one of the cells in the grid to the left.
If it is a hit the cell will turn red. Otherwise it will turn blue.
Wait for your opponent to play. One of the cells on the right will become blue or red after they’ve gone and you may go ahead.
Once you have 17 red cells in the lefthand grid you have sunk all the oppossing ships and won the game.
