Installers for previous versions?

Hello, before the 2.0 release there were downloads in the form of AppImages, DMGs, and Windows installers in the GitHub Releases section. I would like to package this for Homebrew, and have a Homebrew tap for releases before 2.0, but since there are no release artifacts anymore, and only a non-static URL that serves the latest version, it is no longer possible for me to package without the package being broken after a new release.

I would definitely appreciate it if it is possible to start adding downloads to the Releases section again like before the 2.0 release. However, if that's not possible, is there any way to retrieve a specific version with a consistent URL from the CDN? That would also satisfy my use cases.
