Introduction

The Insect and Spider Encyclopedia is a project made to provide users with facts and details about different species of insects and spiders. The project uses a SQLite database to store informationand allows users to interact with the database through a command-line interface.

Features

• View a list of available insects and spiders.
• Get details about selected spider or insect.
• Select animals from the available list to learn about their characteristics.

Prerequisites

-Python 3.x

-SQLite

Usage

1. Clone the Repository to your local machine. git clone git@github.com/Flash1105/Insect_Dictionary.git

2. Navigate to the project directory.

3. Install Pipenv (if not already installed) pip install pipenv

4. Create a virtual environment and istall project dependencies using Pipenv. pipenv install

5. Activate the virtual environment. pipenv shell

6. Start the application. python main.py

7. Follow the prompts in the command-line interface to explore insect and spider facts.
