Series "begin" property ignored when reloading flexget config

My flexget server had a corrupted disk replaced and the db-config.sqlite file got corrupted. I have a backup from august 2021 that works so I used that instead.

Flexget starts fine and I start updating the begin property of some series shows. I then save and reload the config via flexget daemon reload-config and it replies with the usual:

There is a FlexGet process already running for this config, sending execution there.

However, when checking the series, the begin property remains the same.
If I use the command line to update the begin property via flexget series begin series_name s0xe0y, then the property is updated.

I'm currently on the latest flexget version: 3.2.16.

Never mind, I think there is a delay before the changes take effect. I edited the config and added a new show. When checking via flexget series show show_name immediately afterward, an error message is displayed saying that the show does not exist. But after a minute, re-running the command again will display the usual show details.
