Floom CLI

Floom CLI is a powerful command-line interface designed to simplify the configuration, management, and deployment of Floom environments. It allows developers and DevOps professionals to efficiently manage Docker-compose based Floom environments and deploy YAML configuration files for customizing Floom instances.

Getting Started

To get started with Floom CLI v1.0, you can install it by downloading the latest release from our GitHub Releases page or by using our installation script:

Linux/Mac

sh -c "$(curl -fsSL https://get.floom.ai/install.sh)"

Windows

curl -o install.bat https://get.floom.ai/install.bat && install.bat

Notes

To use Floom CLI from anywhere, add its install directory to your PATH: Open System Properties > Advanced > Environment Variables, select Path, then Edit. Click New, add %USERPROFILE%.floom\bin, and OK. Restart your terminal.

Prerequisites

  • Docker and Docker Compose

  • Go version 1.15 or higher (for building from source)

From Binaries

Download the latest release for your platform from the Releases page and extract the binary to a location in your system's PATH.

Building From Source

To build Floom CLI from source, clone the repository and use Go to compile:

git  clone  https://github.com/FloomAI/FloomCLI.git

cd  FloomCLI

go  build  -o  floom  .

Usage

Here's how you can use Floom CLI to manage your environments:

Start an Environment

floom  start

Stop an Environment

floom  stop

Deploy a Configuration

floom  deploy [cloud/local/endpoint] path/to/config.yml

For more detailed information on commands and their usage, run:

floom  --help
