I am getting the following after cross compiling for OS X:

2015/11/05 15:56:10 user: Current not implemented on darwin/amd64

Is Homemaker for OS X broken?

Upon further inspection it seems the problem has been mentioned here: golang/go#6376.
There is a suggestion to replace user.Current() with os.Getenv("HOME") .
