The Dark Venus MT5 Expert Advisor is a high win scalping expert advisor designed to trade on the MetaTrader 5 platform. It uses Bollinger Bands as a technical indicator to identify potential buy and sell signals.
The following external settings can be adjusted:
- BollingerPeriod: The period used for calculating the Bollinger Bands (default: 20)
- BollingerDeviation: The deviation used for calculating the Bollinger Bands (default: 2.0)
- StopLoss: The stop loss value in points (default: 100.0)
- TakeProfit: The take profit value in points (default: 200.0)
The trade function is responsible for executing the trading logic based on the Bollinger Bands indicator.
- It calculates the upper and lower Bollinger Bands using the specified period and deviation.
- It checks if the price crosses above the upper band. If it does, a buy order is opened with the specified stop loss and take profit levels.
- It checks if the price crosses below the lower band. If it does, a sell order is opened with the specified stop loss and take profit levels.
The start function is called when the expert advisor is started. It loops through all available symbols and selects them one by one. For each selected symbol, it performs the following actions:
- Sets the required chart timeframe to match the symbol's timeframe.
- Sets a unique magic number for each symbol.
- Enables auto trading.
- Enables real-time ticks.
- Calls the trade function to execute the trading logic.
