Sir Maverick is an advanced forex trading robot designed to identify market efficiencies and execute trades automatically. This code provides a sample implementation of the Sir Maverick algorithm.

Algorithm Overview

The Sir Maverick algorithm follows a simple yet effective trading strategy. It calculates the risk/reward ratio based on user-defined inputs and current market conditions. The algorithm then determines the stop loss and take profit levels for each trade. It also incorporates a trailing stop feature to protect profits.

Usage

  1. Include the necessary libraries:

    • Trade.mqh: Provides trading functions

    • stopLossPercentage: Stop loss percentage
    • trailingStopDistance: Trailing stop distance
    • trailingStopStep: Trailing stop step
    • useCustomSettings: Flag to enable custom settings
  3. Define the main trading algorithm:

    • Get current market conditions
    • Calculate risk/reward ratio
    • Calculate stop loss and take profit levels
    • Create a trading order with the calculated levels
    • Set floating stop loss
    • Print trading information
  4. Implement the program entry point:

    • Check if custom settings are enabled
    • Call the trading algorithm
  5. (Optional) Implement custom settings logic:

    • Add custom settings logic in the ApplyCustomSettings() function
  6. (Optional) Implement program initialization and deinitialization logic:

    • Add initialization and deinitialization logic in the OnInit() and OnDeinit() functions
  7. (Optional) Implement program start and stop logic:

    • Add start and stop logic in the OnStart() and OnStop() functions
