This code implements the necessary trading functions and features of the TakePropips Donchian Trend Pro Forex trading software.

Input Parameters

• DonchianPeriod: Period for calculating the Donchian Channel

Global Variables

• upperBand: Variable to store the upper band of the Donchian Channel
• lowerBand: Variable to store the lower band of the Donchian Channel

Donchian Channel Functions

• CalculateDonchianChannel: Calculates the highest high and lowest low over the specified period and stores the upper and lower bands of the Donchian Channel.
• IsPriceAboveChannel: Checks if the current price is above the Donchian Channel.
• IsPriceBelowChannel: Checks if the current price is below the Donchian Channel.

Statistical Dashboard Panel

• UpdateDashboardPanel: Calculates key statistics such as average true range, volatility, and current trend direction and displays them on the dashboard panel.

Trend-Detection Scanner

• DetectTrend: Develops an algorithm to identify trends in the market based on price action and returns the detected trend type.

Automate Entry and Exit Signals

• GenerateEntrySignal: Generates buy or sell signals based on the Donchian Channel and trend analysis.
• GenerateExitSignal: Generates exit signals based on predetermined criteria.

Main Program

• OnTick: Calculates the Donchian Channel, determines whether the current price is above or below the channel, updates the statistical dashboard panel, detects the current market trend, and generates entry and exit signals.
