Override death chest for Advent of Ascention #1840

There's missing a lot of explanation.

Alright essentailly for whatever reason AoA uses its own death management system. What I can gather is Xolova has re-written the save inventory command that differs from the vanilla method. Why; I cannot say. The result is mods that used to create a death chest such as "Gravestone Mode - Die Classy", "Gravestone 1.2.4", "Bam Chest" and "FE HeadChest" not longer functions. I am not a coder so I cannot tell you why but I can give a link to PM Xolova. Don't tell him you know me because he basically hates me. If nothing else I will ask my friend Thutmose or Notabadminer De-Obfuscate the mod and figure it our as I am not a coder I would not know what to look for. |
I think I have a more simple solution ... since a player in advent of ascention is forced to drop all their inventory could you add a vacuum affect to the death chest totems? That way no matter what people can get back their head and regardless to whatever mod is ever made fe will then allow for proper Death chest support. Maybe cut off the magnet point after about 200 ticks? |

I love team FE as both you @olee and @luacs1998 know but I have fallen into an impass with the mod Advent of Ascention. As I have multiple requests for Death Chest Support the mod dev refuses to so much as acknowledge my request. Also the way his mod is setup in order to keep items I was forced to use the gamerule keepAllInventory instead of the Vanilla command keepInventory. Can you create a death chest hook for proper support for Advent of Ascension? Also I don't know how to yet but if at all possible I need the death chest hook to support Infinite Inventory at least up 270 items.
