Death chests do not properly work in other dimensions #2433
Comments
Thanks for posting this issue. I first need to point you to this https://github.com/ForgeEssentials/ForgeEssentials#reporting-bugs |
ok, I will update the Forge Essentials Server and Client to what is posted there as I'm on Client: 54 and Server: 60 and report back. Is the ModsList.txt still required? |
modlist.txt Assume the FE is updated to the latest. |
Have you disabled Extra Utils grave? |
Looking at the Extra Utility config file, there isn't anything related to graves nor in EnderIO. |
ok, after updating both clients and server to the latest update, it still does not make the death chest. It only makes a fence when dying in the nether and mystcraft DIMs. I did not check the END dim. |
Try with a pure forge installation with only FE installed and see if the grave issue happens. My hunch is this is a mod compatibility issue. Also, it is a requirement to post the full FE version cause a new latest might come out after you posted your issue. |
We all agreed to just enable the game rule keepInventory. However, I'll try that when I have abit of time to make a new server. |
Can I ask a question? What is the issue with EnderIO? I'll use the Forge ESS with EnderIO together. |
Hello,
I'm having an issue on a 1.12.2 server where death chest are not working properly while you are in another dimension (Nether, END, mystcraft).
I died in the nether when fighting mobs and when I went to go collect my stuff, all I collected was an oak fence.
Is there a setting I need to set for it to work in other DIMs or is this a bug?
