There is a growing use of webmentions among indieweb sites and having the webmentions logo included in the font would be a very nice feature.

Webmention is W3C approved recommendation:

"Webmention is a simple way to notify any URL when you mention it on your site. From the receiver's perspective, it's a way to request notifications when other sites mention it."

What can it be used for?
According to the IndieWeb page on Webmention:

"Webmention is a web standard for mentions and conversations across the web, a powerful building block that is used for a growing federated network of comments, likes, reposts, and other rich interactions across the decentralized social web."

Adding the Webmention icon into Font Awesome could make it easier for users to let others know that they support Webmention on their site, and help to spread awareness of the W3C recommendation.

Icon request checklist

  • This is a single icon or matched pair (Ex: lock / unlock)
  • The title starts with "Icon request: " and is followed by the requested icon name (Ex: Icon request: magical-unicorn)
  • I have searched for existing issues and to the best of my knowledge this is not a duplicate
  • I have included at least one example image if it could be helpful (optional)
  • The request is for a concrete object (it's harder to make an icon to represent happiness, it's easier to make a smiley face. ☺)

I don't mean to spam but is this still possible?
