To be honest, I'm still not sure about this idea. I'm wondering if it's not too complicated, I can't accept every feature otherwise the app will be bloated.

Moreover, it can be usefull in some case, so I'll think about it a little longer and tell you ;)

Sure, no problem. I just usually share with you whatever comes to my mind,
of course if it makes at least some sense. I hope I'm not too annoying.

would be glad to see this, too. I'd suggest two things for this:

• allow to exclude certain feeds from triggering the notification. eg a checkbox like "silence this feed" as a feed option. if checked, new items in this feed do not trigger a notification
• allow to choose a custom ring tone for each feed (including silence)

I implemented both for original sparserss in my fork at doits/Sparse-RSS - Im away from home atm but might try to implement it for feedex, too, and come with a PR in some weeks.

Thanks doits for your proposition. But I still continue to find it too much complicated. Moreover, when several feeds with custom ringtones are updated in the same time, which ringtone do we use? And why being able to silence the feed in two different way?

Maybe just a spinner which allows to select between "normal" , "silenced" and "important", with a general preference to select the important ringtone is better. But what do we put as default important ringtone?

I second, or third this. Right now I have just one feed. But would love to add more feeds, but not spam my notifaction bar every hour. I like one noticefaction for one feed this is importment and no notifaction for the rest as they are just news feeds that can be read anytime.

There is currently a regex filter per feed, a way more complex per feed feature then just a simple notifaction checkbox per feed.
