SPA not working as expected

I have the following folder structure:

src/
  index.html
  js/
    index.js

When you hit the homepage (http://localhost:8000 in this case), the application "forwards" the page (using window.history.pushState()) to http://localhost:8000/dashboard/page1, which works fine. But the when I navigate directly to http://localhost:8000/dashboard/page1, e.g. I refresh the page, the browser looks for index.js at http://localhost:8000/dashboard/js/index.js which doesn't exist. How can I handle this? My snowpack.config.json is:

Can you share the output your HTML response (specifically, the script tag) when it's served from http://localhost:8000/dashboard/page1 & http://localhost:8000/dashboard/`? I'd expect this to import the JS file by absolute path, which shouldn't be affected by what URL its served from

Thanks, the html had

<script type="module" src="js/index.js"></script>

but changing too

<script type="module" src="/js/index.js"></script>

has fixed the issue. Such a relief, thank you!

Maybe your script tag in HTML content be <script type="module" src="./js/index.js"></script>. The src attribute should be an absolute path for expected result.
