missing libfreerdp-locale.so.1.0 on Ubuntu 12.04

I installed wsgate , when I try to run it I get

wsgate: error while loading shared libraries: libfreerdp-locale.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

where should I get this library ?

I have the same problem on the same type of system. Has this been addressed/overcome already?

@kristB did you build freerdp from git or did you use the version that comes with ubuntu? - Recent version of freerdp don't have libfreerdp-locale.so anymore since the code was moved to another library.

I used apt in Ubuntu 12.04. My ./configure from the GIT approach failed
earlier today. Does it work for you on Ubuntu?

wsgate is developed based on freerdp-1.0.1 which contains libfreerdp-locale.so.1.0.

You can download freerdp-1.0.1 package from FreeRDP/GitHub.

(1) sudo apt-get --purge remove freerdp-x11

(2) Please download the Ubuntu DEB archive found on PKGS.org.
