overview for bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum forks
This project collects and aggregates forks of bitcoin and other cryptos. It's purpose is to get an overview of all forked coins you as bitcoin holder got due to forks and how to get/sell the coins safely.
It contains the following parts (each in a sub directory)
The crawler is responsible for collecting needed data from coinmarketcap and other websites. As there are some statistics over a period of time the data will be stored over time, but only as long as needed. Example data: http://web.froso.de/bictoin-forks/example-crawler-output.zip
The aggregator works on the ouput of the crawler. It consumes the needed information for the Website Builder and makes it available in a json format
The final website. It contains only static files (html, js, ...). No backend is needed. As much as possible is inline to optimize performance.
To install, run
cd website
npm install
To build
cd website
npm run build
To develop
cd website
npm run dev
and then open http://localhost:8080 in your browser.
This directory contains some wiremocks and plans for further development
