CleanSpeak username filter may not work correctly when using custom registration forms

Description

Needs a recreate, but we have a client that attempted to use CleanSpeak to moderate usernames using a custom registration form.

Affects versions

Unknown.

Steps to reproduce

The assumed recreate steps are:

1. Create a self service registration form, try basic or advanced w/ a username
2. Enable CleanSpeak username filtering
3. Enter a username that should be filtered

We should also test this behavior on the up-coming self service forms.

Expected behavior

The same filtering behavior that we see on the API, and admin UI when creating a username on a registration or user.
