One difference between the regular module and web module is exiting web.xml file.
If web.xml file exists in a module that means that this module will be deployed to embedded tomcat as a separate context.
To define web context path you have to define server.contextPath the parameter to corespondent module.properties, after that you module will be deployed and available as the context path
By default available mc module.
