Google Developer Student Clubs are university-based community groups for students interested in Google developer technologies. By joining a GDSC, students get access to Google Developer resources, build their personal and professional network, and work together to build solutions for local problems in a peer-to-peer learning environment.
This project is mentored under the Winter Of Code 3.0 in collaboration with GDSC IIIT Kalyani
This project is aimed at creating an android application for the Google Developer Student Club, ZHCET. The application is intended to keep the audience of the club bound together. The application will be an Android counterpart of the club's community page, which means, the application should contain:
- About the club
- All the events conducted by the club
- The club's team as listed on the community page
- Extra features that may be added as the project grows
Follow the given process before starting the work on the project:
- Install android studio (Dolphin) version 2021.3.1 or latest
- Select GET FROM VCS option on new project tab
- Select target folder and clone project either directly from GDSC-ZHCET git-hub profile or forked project from personal profile
- Wait for sometime and allow android studio to download all required dependencies
- Boom!!! it was so simple, Start Contribution!

This project is meant for beginner programmers and android application developers who are willing to learn how android applications are meant to be created. The following eligibility criteria should be fulfilled by each participant:
- Must have an active GitHub account
- Should have atleast 1 repository and the account MUST be atleast one month old
- Should have an idea of how open source contributions work
- Must know the basics of Android Application Development
