My Tel‐U Launcher Installation Guide
This guide will assist you in installing and running the My Tel-U Launcher on your system.
Before installing MyTel-U, ensure your system meets the following requirements. You can verify this by navigating to Settings > System
, scrolling down, and selecting About
. Your Windows specification will be listed under Device specification
.
If you're using Windows 10, press Windows + R
, type winver
, and press Enter
to view the winver dialog.
To run a WinUI 3 application, your system must meet the following criteria:

Minimum Windows Version:
- Windows 10 (1803+) or Windows 11 (64-bit systems)

Runtime Requirements:
- Ensure you have either .NET 7 or .NET 8 Runtime installed.
- If not already installed, start the program, and you'll be prompted to download and install it.
Remember to regularly update your Windows version for optimal performance. If you're already using Windows 11 or a version beyond the minimum requirement, you should be able to run the My Tel-U Launcher without any issues.
To install the My Tel-U Launcher application, navigate to the Releases page and select the latest version of the My Tel-U Launcher Application (Recommended).
Download the MyTel_UProto_x.x.x.x_x64.zip
file. Once the download is complete, extract the zip file by right-clicking on it, selecting Extract All
, and clicking Extract
.
This is how it will appear once you have successfully extracted the ZIP file.
Next, double-click on the MyTel_UProto_x.x.x.x_x64.cer
file (this allows us to install the MSIX without error). Click Install
select Local Machine
on the store location, and press Next
. When the UAC dialog appears, select Yes
.
Click Browse
, then click Trusted Root Certification Authorities
and press OK
. Click Next
and then Finish
.
A message saying The import was successful
will appear, indicating the completion of the certification step.
Finally, double-click on the MyTel_UProto_x.x.x.x_x64.msix
file and press Install
. Once done, you have successfully installed the MyTel-U application on your Windows system. If you encounter an error during installation, it may mean something went wrong in the certification step, so please follow the steps carefully.
If you've successfully installed it, it will look like this. You can find it in the Start menu Recommended section or under the All Apps
section.
