Actually 1024x768 is hardcoded it's small when you want to use interface designed for bigger screen.

The problem is with the virtual X11 server we start. The client is not yet connected and we don't have the resolution

Multiple possibility:

  • Make it configurable on the server (easy to do for us, but most user can not use it)
  • Make it configurable on the VM level (more work, very flexible)

I would go for the second possibility.
