Hi and happy Christmas :-)

When we show interface label of VBox, GNS3 shows : e0/0.
It should display the default name format

Do you mean in the "tooltip" when you hover a node in GNS3?

When my VMBox is connected to another device. and when i click on "Show/Hide interface labels"

Current 2.0 behavior:

1.5 behavior

When port name format is Ethernet{0}

If I change the port name format

The behavior of 1.5 is weird. We use the short label except if user has customize the long label. Not sure if it was designed like that or if it's a bug but I will reimplement the same to avoid migration issues.

This complexity is due to cisco interface naming on most OS we don't have this different naming.

Related also to #1752

Ok now it's work like 1.5. Thanks
